FAQS
What is “Extraordinarily Unique Metal Art”?
Color Laser Engraving is “A Symphony of Precision and Creativity”
In the realm of contemporary art, **color laser engraving on metal** stands out as a cutting-edge technique that marries the precision of technology with the creativity of artistic expression. This process transforms ordinary metal surfaces into canvases of intricate designs, vibrant colors, and lasting beauty, producing artwork that is both visually stunning and enduring.
How are the engravings made? Color laser engraving uses highly focused laser beams to etch designs onto metal surfaces. Unlike traditional engraving, which typically results in monochromatic or grayscale images, this advanced technique incorporates color, adding an extra dimension to the artwork. The laser's intensity and speed are meticulously controlled to create varying depths and hues, resulting in a rich, layered effect.
What is the size of the engraved pieces? Engravings come usually in 2 sizes. The smaller version is 4” x 4” or 16 square inches. The larger version is 6”x 6” or 36 square inches. All sheets are 1/8” thick.
How long does it take to color engrave? Depending on size and complexity of the image, engraving time is 3 to 7 hours.

How many colors are available? Not all colors can be created. Currently, the color palette has 25 different colors or shades of color.
How do you clean the surface? It's best to use the included glass cleaning cloth to remove smudges and fingerprints.
Is there a protective coating? Yes. Each sheet is triple layered with a premium clear ceramic coating for extended surface protection.
Does light and viewing angle affect color? YES! This is probably the most unique characteristic of color engraved stainless steel. Light intensity, light color, viewing angle and surroundings can affect color and have a major effect on how the engraving looks.
Can any image be used for a custom engraving? No. Images with too much detail are not candidates for this type of engraving. Please contact us for questions.
